Defeder awarded with the accesit for digitalization and innovation at the Santander SME Awards

We are in luck again because we have received the award in the category of Innovation and Digitization of the 2022 Santander SME Awards that were awarded on October 20 at the Huesca Chamber of Commerce.

The second prize includes the investments in ICT, the increase in assets in R&D&i, and the effort in Digital Marketing and Social Networks that we have carried out throughout this year. Precisely last year we received second prize in the Internationalization category thanks to the fact that 60% of our production is exported to other countries, mainly France.

In the words of Raúl Saila, who went up to collect the award: “We are very grateful to both the Chamber of Commerce and Banco Santander for this award. For us it is a different award, it is an award given to us by the Chamber of Commerce, which supported us in very difficult and complicated times, and by Banco Santander, which was also with us from the beginning. They have been and continue to be two very important companies for our company. We are making a great development in technology and in people and this award gives us strength and energy and is also a good reward for all the work we are doing”.

The SME of the Year Award is an initiative of the Huesca Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Spain and Banco Santander to recognize the work of small and medium-sized companies as generators of wealth and creators of employment in the performance of their daily work.
